Awesome experience. Contacted House & Hammer for a quote to have our main roof done. Darrell came out to do the initial inspection, and was honest that although it needed some repairs, the entire roof did not need to be replaced for a few more years. We opted to have the complete job done, rather than just the spot repairs. Paul emailed a quote the same night, and was very responsive in scheduling and answering all our questions. The materials and bin were dropped off ahead of time, and the crew showed up on time on the start date. Crew was awesome, and did a great cleanup job. Zero complaints about them. Weeks later, I checked the attic during / after some heavy rainfalls. Everything looked good. We live in a single house. I’ve been feeding wild birds in our backyard. We had recently problems with European starlings taking advantage of our second floor bathroom vent, building nests inside the vent twice, once in early spring, once in late summer this year. I finally had enough and started to google companies that are willing to fix the problem for me. I’m happy to have House & Hammer Roofing come to my rescue. They installed a protection guard outside the house and fixed problems from inside. We recently had House and Hammer Roofing replace our roof shingles and install new eavestroughs and downspouts. We were extremely pleased with this business from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice, and very professional, and they did a beautiful job on my roof! It was completed in one day, and the work crew stayed and picked up every last piece of debris, swept everywhere, and even climbed on a ladder to retrieve something that fell into my tree.

From my first call with Paul on Christmas Day about my leaking skylight (yes, he answered my call), and subsequent phone calls to review options for a new roof system, to his foreman Darrell coming over on Boxing Day to help us stop the leaks, to an A+ installation last week of our new roof and skylight system, our family’s experience with House and Hammer has truly been nothing short of best in class.The quality of the workmanship, the patience of the team to answer all of my questions and emails throughout the process (I ask a lot of questions, sorry guys), the finishing detail and inspections of everything, and of course accommodating my schedule and getting all of it done extremely fast with a final cleanup that left our yard in better shape than before they came.
If you’re looking for a quality, reputable, and trustworthy roofing company for your next project, I can’t recommend Paul, Darrell, KC and the entire House and Hammer team enough. Exceptional customer service every step of the way made this almost easy for our family.

I contacted House & Hammer Roofing to get a quote to replace our shed roof and put a kitchen exhaust vent in the roof of our house. Paul was great to deal with and gave me a reasonable price to do both jobs. Daryl came to do the work. He took the time to explain the exhaust vent options available and also gave his opinion about which one he thought was best (which I appreciated). Who do you trust to do your roof? H & H did my mother in laws shingles 2 years ago and her neighbour. They couldn’t say enough about H & H. We called for a quote, and Paul was here quickly. We trusted him the moment we met him. We didn’t bother to get 3 quotes, you get what you pay for. Look above our garage doors roof, we couldn’t tell what colour we wanted as it was between 2 colours. We couldn’t tell with the small booklet samples, so Darrell hammered in those 2 huge pieces to compare! Who does that? We went with the one on the right classic brown. Look at the difference! Our roof pops now and is good for 50 years. They put leaf guards on the entire eaves trough system (extra fee) so we don’t have a worry ever again about plugged gutters. A very polite respectful crew, who cleaned daily and respected our house as if it were their own. They worked through this heat wave of June 14-15th 2022. Special shout out to Darrell who put up all the leaf guard & fixed all the ugly black builders flashing, he’s an incredible man. We highly recommend House & Hammer Roofing. Paul is great to deal with. He is very prompt in responding to messages with solid information and returns the quote very quickly. We got three quotes … all three quoted exactly the same materials and Paul’s was the best price. The work was done this week … one of the hottest weeks of the year. The guys worked through to mid-afternoon when it was just too hot. They are fast, efficient, tell you if/where there any issues with the roof and what they are doing to remediate. They are very polite. They left the site spotlessly clean and the bin was removed the day after the job was completed. We were truly impressed. We just had our roof completed by House and Hammer and could not be happier. Easy, fast, and affordable. Paul was an absolute pleasure to deal with, always responding to my emails promptly; even when they were not urgent and sent over a long weekend so I didn’t expect to hear back until the next business day, I received a response within hours. His workers were efficient, polite, and cleaned up well when they were done, even raking debris from our grass. To top it all off, his quote was the lowest as well. Highly recommend.
